Energy Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to join the Information Systems Team. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, support agile delivery, and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and cross‑functional teams to drive platform enhancements and technology initiatives.

You will analyze business processes, validate requirements, maintain documentation, and mentor junior analysts while contributing to best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IS, or related field.
• Five years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in Agile development; works with cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading UAT with stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical teams.
• Proficient in writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria using Jira.
• Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs.
• Partner with engineers on solution design for moderately complex problems.
• Prepare functional specs, workflows, mockups, and user stories.
• Maintain epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and releases.
• Analyze current workflows for improvement opportunities.
• Create and execute UAT test cases and validate results.
• Track KPIs to evaluate solution performance.
• Participate in retrospectives and process improvements.
• Assist junior analysts and share knowledge.
