The View, part of Union Square Hospitality Group, is seeking a Brunch Line Cook to join a two-floor restaurant offering a lively bar, dining room, and skyline views. You will work alongside a team dedicated to Enlightened Hospitality, preparing breakfast-focused dishes for high-volume brunch service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year line cook experience in a full-service restaurant or equivalent.
• Weekend daytime availability.
• Experience with high-volume brunch service.
• Strong execution of egg cookery, griddle, and breakfast-focused preparations.
• Ability to maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during peak brunch hours.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• English fluency; additional languages optional.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Display knowledge of all ingredients and preparations used on the menu.
• Ensure station mise en place is prepped, seasoned, and stocked; station remains clean and organized.
• Participate in service, ensuring excellence in cooking, timing, plate assembly, and communication.
• Maintain calm while managing picks and taking direction from expediters and culinary leaders.
• Promote teamwork and excellence amongst the kitchen team.
• Demonstrate eagerness to refine techniques and continually learn and grow.
