Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is hiring for a kitchen team member in Birmingham. You will accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products and portion items before cooking, including plating and garnishing.

This role requires at least 1 year in kitchen prep, the ability to follow recipes and standards, and capacity to lift up to 50lbs. You will work in a fast-paced brunch environment with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Ability to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently.
• Ability to maintain clean and sanitary work areas.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products and portion food prior to cooking.
• Plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
