Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to accurately and efficiently prepare hot foods and to portion ingredients prior to cooking. You will participate in plating and garnishing, ensuring high-quality presentations for our brunch dishes.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, can follow recipes precisely, and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace. This role emphasizes standard portions and consistent cooking methods within a busy, all-day brunch

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Able to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently – responsible for the quality of products served.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.

• Prepare and portion food prior to cooking.
