Job summary

Atlantic Tomorrow's Office invites an Onsite Support Technician to join our team at the Bronx location and nearby offices. You will handle hands-on IT support for workstations, servers, printers, networking gear, and third-party software, while contributing to project deployments and continuity testing.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent, 3+ years onsite experience, strong communication, and familiarity with ConnectWise and VPN.

Qualifications

2 year degree in Computer & Information Science or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of onsite or field service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; tailor to end user level.
Certification preferred; ability to build desktops and laptops.
Experience racking, stacking and patching network equipment.
Ability to use ConnectWise for service tickets; review IT publications to stay current.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT support for client locations in Bronx and surrounding boroughs.
Work with project team on PC builds and network deployments.
Troubleshoot PC connectivity and network elements including ISPs, firewalls, switches and wireless devices.
Install Microsoft and 3rd party software; implement VPN and remote access.
Document and update client environment; communicate incident progress and outages.
Maintain IT rooms and assets; train staff on computer operations.
