Job summary

AHRC New York City is hiring an Account Executive/Job Developer for the Bronx Employment Business Services program to expand employment opportunities for people supported by the agency. The role emphasizes outreach, employer engagement, and helping job seekers present themselves effectively during interviews.

The position involves building employer relationships, coordinating with EBS staff, and traveling across the five boroughs and beyond to meet placement goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Arts or Science plus 2 years marketing/sales/related experience, or Associate's Degree with 5 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel across the five boroughs and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Develop employment opportunities for people supported as outlined in Addendum #1.
• Promote widespread, positive image/knowledge of AHRC's Employment & Business Services.
• Initiate employer relationships through outreach and networking activities.
• Cultivate relationships with employers and other business people in targeted industries.
• Accompany job seekers to interviews and help them present themselves well.
• Travel with job seekers via public transport or program van as needed.
• Coordinate account management with Employment and Community Service Coordinator and other EBS staff.
• Ensure program placement goals are met quarterly.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations as needed.
• Participate in networking events.
• Travel throughout the 5 boroughs and out of state as needed.
