Job summary

Westhab in Bronx, NY is seeking a full-time Job Developer for the CRED program to establish and maintain employer relationships, assess participant skills, and secure job opportunities. You will lead outreach, conduct job readiness workshops, and coordinate interviews and placements for program participants.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree and two years’ experience in sales, job development, social services or related fields, plus a NYS driver’s license with access to a car.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; two years’ experience in sales, job development, social services or employment programs with disadvantaged adults.
• Must have valid NYS Driver’s License and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains employer relationships across construction, porter, maintenance, warehouse and laborer sectors.
• Assesses participants’ skills to identify suitable job opportunities.
• Participates in outreach and recruitment activities, including job fairs.
• Delivers job readiness workshops and career information.
• Arranges interviews and coordinates job placements and follow-ups.
• Provides labor market information and supports employment placements to ensure success.
