Truist is hiring a Financial Services Assistant to support registered Financial Advisors in the Brentwood, TN area. In an in-office role, you will help with client servicing, preparing financial plans, trading support and appointment scheduling.

You will also process paperwork, assist with client onboarding, and ensure compliance with authentication for sensitive transactions. Relevant FINRA licenses or the ability to obtain them during employment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and related training.
• Experience in the securities industry and/or a sales assistant role.
• Knowledge of securities markets and brokerage accounts.
• Knowledge of annuity products.
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (candidates may obtain during employment).
• Excellent telephone skills and professional client interaction.
• Effective time management and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Advisors in servicing clients, including preparing financial plans and client trades.
• Receive and place orders; respond to general market questions and order features.
• Process corporate actions requiring a license when applicable.
• Schedule client appointments, enter data in Salesforce, prepare agendas and client communications.
• Manage the advisor's calendar to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
• Identify sales opportunities by contacting potential investment clients using internal leads.
• Provide operational guidance on systems navigation and document fulfillment.
• Prepare new account paperwork with signatures and track submission.
• Authenticate high-risk transactions and maintain compliance with procedures.
• Support branch operations and assist with maintenance requests as needed.
