Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Leader in Dallas, TX. The role combines hybrid work with in-office collaboration to drive service quality, efficiency, and cost control across multiple locations.

You will lead a team, manage budgets, and develop staff while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing operations, achieving KPI/SQI targets, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a logistics or service environment.
• 1+ year in a leadership role is required.
• CCS and/or Broker license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control operations to ensure high service levels and KPI/SQI targets.
• Manage direct expenses and budget for area of responsibility.
• Lead and develop staff (1–50 direct reports) including training and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with safety and corporate policies; monitor security and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with internal/external customers to maintain service levels and resolve issues.
• Travel as needed to support business needs and operations.
