Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Dallas, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to plan and control the movement, processing, and output of operations, ensuring a high level of service and adherence to KPIs.

You will lead 1–50 direct reports, manage expenses and budgets, and enforce safety policies while partnering with internal/external customers. This role is hybrid with some in-office and some work-from-home based on policy.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred; equivalent in business.
• 5 years’ experience in the field/industry.
• 1 year in a leadership role.
• CCS and/or Brokers license preferred.
• MS Office, Outlook and office equipment proficiency.
• Strong management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety in operations.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Ability to handle high volume of work.
• Ability to handle time-sensitive work.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control operations to ensure high level of service.
• Lead and develop a team (1–50 direct reports).
• Manage expenses and payroll budget for the area.
• Ensure service quality per KPIs and SQIs.
• Maintain reports, payroll, schedules, and personnel stats.
• Enforce company policies and safety programs.
• Travel occasionally to support business needs.
