FedEx Logistics in Dallas, TX is seeking a operations leader to plan and control the movement and processing of goods across multiple locations. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on supervision of a team, focused on delivering high service quality and cost efficiency.

The position requires 5 years in logistics with leadership experience, proficiency in MS Office, and a focus on safety and process improvement.

Formación

• 4-Year degree preferred or equivalent in business.
• Five years of experience in the field/industry preferred.
• One year in a leadership role required.
• CCS and/or Brokers license preferred.
• Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.
• General knowledge of safety awareness within an operational division.
• Handle high volume of work and time sensitive tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize and control input, movement, processes, sort, and output of operations to ensure high service levels.
• Provide leadership and direction promoting people-service-profit philosophy and staff development.
• Manage direct expenses and ensure service quality per KPIs and SQIs.
• Supervise one or multiple locations and a staff of 1–50 direct reports.
• Maintain budgets for revenue and payroll; implement efficient tactics for quality service.
• Ensure cost effectiveness through control of equipment, utilities, and overtime.
• Maintain contact with customers regarding service conditions and contribute to project design and follow-up.
• Set and monitor team and individual goals for quality and productivity.
• Enforce safety policies and corporate procedures; conduct meetings and performance reviews.
• Maintain all required reports, payroll, vacation schedules and personnel records.
