Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Associate in Brokerage to support senior brokers with market research, financial modeling and deal analysis. You will prepare materials, analyze data and help drive business development.

Ideal candidates bring up to 3 years in commercial real estate, strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, and excellent communication. This on-site role includes training through JLL University and exposure to high-level transactions.

Qualifications

Entry level to 3+ years in commercial real estate.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Able to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Licensing: Real Estate license within 90 days of hire.
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance or Real Estate.

Responsibilities

Prepare offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities.
Create sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models, running ad-hoc financial analysis.
Assist with the preparations of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits.
Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for input into client deliverables and valuation models.
Read and review real estate documents (i.e. leases, operating expense statements, environmental and engineering reports, appraisals, etc.) and prepare abstract reports for clients and prospective clients.
Point of contact for tracking, management, reporting.
Review and analyze client’s quantitative portfolio data, legal documents, and other material as part of project due diligence process.
Attend JLL University (13-week training) for new Associate Brokers.
Support the senior brokers in initiating business development activities and taking initiative to outreach to new leads (cold calls, warm calls, emails, etc.).
Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation.
Contribute to designated local market research requests: market snapshots, market overviews, quarterly market decks, topic specific research to support pitches and brokerage opportunities.
