Job summary

Space 220 Restaurant in Orlando, FL, part of Delaware North’s Patina Group, is seeking a full-time Broiler Cook. You will prepare and cook broiled items, lead kitchen activities, uphold health codes, and help train teammates to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The role requires at least 2 years of broiler cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, availability nights/weekends/holidays, and strong knowledge of meat cuts and recipes. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Broiler Cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Participation in a culinary program is preferred.
• Knowledge of different cuts of meat and cooking techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills; ability to read, calculate and follow recipe measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook broiled items such as steaks, burgers, and seafood.
• Operate broilers, grills, and other cooking equipment.
• Season and marinate meats according to established recipes.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of perishable items.
• Open, close, and end-of-day inventory per company checklists.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked.
• Record waste on the spoilage sheet.
• May perform other duties to support the team.
