Job summary

Agri-Valley Communications, Inc. is seeking a full-time Service Technician for Pigeon, MI. The role covers installation, configuration and maintenance of residential and small business broadband, including FTTH and fixed wireless systems. Daily travel is required and safety compliance is essential.

You will install equipment, perform site surveys, test signals, and troubleshoot issues while coordinating with teams for escalations. A high school diploma and climbing certification are required.

• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate residential and small-business broadband services (FTTH and fixed wireless).
• Configure ONUs, routers, Wi‑Fi, and related hardware.
• Perform site surveys and determine optimal locations and mounting requirements.
• Mount and align wireless antennas and radios for optimal signal quality.
• Route and terminate indoor/outdoor network cabling per standards.
• Test fiber and wireless signals and diagnose connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with network teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
• Maintain professional field practices and document work in systems.
