Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Sales & Service Technician II (Field Install & Repair) in Brooklyn, MI to install and repair network facilities from the station to the line card. You will perform inside wiring, install customer premises equipment, and support company broadband products while traveling to customer sites.

The role requires outdoor work, physical activity, pole climbing, and flexible hours with travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance.
• Basic keyboard and software skills.
• Pole climbing certification required.
• Must complete company provided training and demonstrate ability to complete full installs.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain inside wire for residential/business broadband (HSI/Video) service.
• Install an array of networking equipment (Fiber to the Home, ONT, Wireless routers, Modems, Gateways).
• Install all wiring and equipment for broadband continuity and related equipment.
• Read service orders, troubleshoot tickets, and read circuit diagrams.
• Perform aerial, underground, and buried plant maintenance and installations.
