• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Texas special education certificate endorsements for assignments.
• Experience with ARD Committee process and IEP goal setting.
• At least one-year student teaching or approved internship.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD for each student.
• Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill programs and show written prep evidence.
• Plan and use strategies, activities, and materials aligned to student needs.
• Work with regular teachers to modify curricula and support in regular classes.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings regularly.
• Assess learning styles and plan instructional activities accordingly.
• Present material per IEP guidelines and employ varied instructional media.
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers and use technology in teaching.
