Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments.
• One year student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with parents and staff to develop IEPs through ARD for each student.
• Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs and document planning.
• Use varied teaching strategies and assist in adapting curricula to student needs.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings and monitor student progress.
• Plan, supervise, and integrate assistive technology and classroom aides.
