Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC, based in Denver, CO, seeks a Technical Sales & Promotions Engineer for Structural Products to drive technical marketing, promotion, and sales for our Bridge and Structures lines. You will provide regulatory guidance, consultative solution development, and coordinate with owners, engineers, and contractors in civil infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering field; P.E. preferred.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Ability to understand engineer of record, site owner, and contractor's needs and guide to product solutions.
• Excellent communication of technical information and consultative marketing skills.
• Proficiency interpreting civil site plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% within region.

Responsibilities

• Technical Marketing: Drive marketing, promotion, and sales for Bridge and Structures; provide regulatory focus, technical knowledge, and consultative solution development to owners, public agencies, engineers, and contractors in the civil infrastructure construction industry.
• Territory Development: Cultivate relationships with current and potential customers, including specifying engineers and agencies within your assigned territory.
• Marketing Expertise: Implement a defined marketing and sales operating system with continuous improvement in consultative marketing and selling.
• Technical Knowledge: Showcase civil engineering and infrastructure knowledge related to Bridge and Structures product lines.
• Pricing Strategy: Develop budgetary pricing for initial design and final project pricing strategies during the Transactional Sales Process.
• Field Marketing: Lead territory field marketing directed at public agencies, DOTs, and regulatory agencies for the Bridge and Structures product portfolio.
