Formación

• Ability to obtain CDL and DOT medical card within 11 months of employment and maintain thereafter.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
• Ability to perform math calculations to lay out constructed elements on bridges and culverts.
• Experience with carpentry, concrete forming and finishing, and welding.

Responsabilidades

• Perform construction operations including carpentry, welding and concrete finishing; remove and install structural components.
• Place temporary bridges and remove damaged structures during emergencies.
• Apply environmental protection measures during maintenance and construction.
• Operate light to medium-duty highway equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain safety by following OSHA and VOSHA rules and MUTCD for detours and work zones.
• Participate in manual labor to support crew objectives on bridges and structures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and tools.
