Job summary

Consor in Draper, Utah is seeking a motivated Structural/Bridge Engineer to join our growing Structural/Bridge Engineering Group. You will design and check a range of structures, collaborate with senior engineers, and develop leadership skills on transportation projects.

This hybrid role blends office and field work, with opportunities for client interaction, technical mentorship of EITs, and advancing design leadership within a supportive, team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in civil/structural engineering focusing on bridge design.
• Professional Structural Engineer (SE) license, PE, or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
• Demonstrated experience with bridge design principles, methodologies, and current AASHTO LRFD standards.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support structural/bridge design tasks as part of an integrated engineering team.
• Mentor junior staff and EITs; act as technical resource.
• Perform structural/bridge analysis, calculations, load-rating evaluations, and design checks.
• Develop and review structural/bridge plans, estimates, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, local governments, and clients.
