Job summary

Consor in Draper, Utah is seeking a motivated Structural / Bridge Engineer to join our growing Structural / Bridge Engineering Group. You will lead and support design tasks, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with senior engineers and clients on transportation projects.

The role involves performing structural/bridge analyses, checking designs, developing plans, and contributing to reports and proposals. It is a hybrid position based in Draper, UT with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional civil/structural engineering experience focused on bridge design
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure or ability to obtain licensure in a reasonable timeframe
• Experience with bridge design principles, AASHTO LRFD, concrete and steel design

Responsibilities

• Lead and support structural/bridge design tasks as part of an integrated engineering team
• Mentor junior staff including EITs
• Perform structural/bridge analysis, calculations, load-rating evaluations, and design checks
• Develop and review structural/bridge plans, specs, estimates, and supporting documents
• Conduct conceptual engineering studies and provide recommendations
• Support and lead preliminary engineering and final design efforts
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and design summaries
• Coordinate with project managers, local governments, and clients as needed
