Job summary

BSC Group, Massachusetts’ leading consulting engineering firm, seeks an early-career Bridge/Structural Designer to learn, grow, and contribute on real projects—from bridges to resilient infrastructure systems. You’ll join multidisciplinary teams to deliver design through construction, gaining hands-on experience with industry tools, standards, and best practices.

Qualified graduates with a B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering are encouraged to apply; internship or co-op experience is a plus,

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (or graduating soon).
• Internship or co-op experience is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Interest in bridge/structural design and infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions.
• A team-oriented mindset and curiosity to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of bridges and structural systems on transportation projects.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist with drafting, modeling, and technical analysis.
• Participate in projects from early planning through construction.
• Learn industry tools, standards, and best practices through real-world experience.
