Job summary

Consor in Draper, Utah is seeking an Engineer in Training to join the Structural/Bridge group. You will assist with design of bridges and transportation structures under a senior structural engineer, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of project types.

The role is hybrid, blending office and field work, with a salary range of $75k–$105k depending on experience. The team emphasizes mentorship, growth, and a collaborative culture in a leading transportation engineering practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on bridge design.
• Demonstrated experience with bridge design principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of concrete and steel design.
• Experience with ORD or MicroStation and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Beneficial software: Mathcad, Erickson Culvert, BGS, PGSuper, RISA, LEAP Bridge Suite, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain it via FE exam.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of engineers on structural/bridge projects.
• Perform structural and bridge analysis and calculations.
• Develop structural/bridge plans, specs, estimates, and documents.
• Conduct conceptual engineering studies and support design efforts.
• Prepare technical reports and coordinate with project managers and agencies.
