Caton Construction Group is seeking a General Laborer for a Bridge & Roadway project in Wake County, NC. Starting pay is negotiable based on skills and experience. The role involves physical labor, tool use, site preparation, and supporting other craft workers.

Work includes shoveling asphalt, trenching, material handling, and maintaining a safe, clean job site. Local travel and possible overnight stays may apply; valid driver’s license required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 2+ years of heavy highway/road/bridge or site work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs strenuous manual labor on general or heavy/highway construction projects.
• Shovels bituminous concrete (asphalt) into construction areas.
• Excavates and fills trenches and ditches.
• Keeps a clean, safe job site and secures tools and equipment.
• Handles and stores materials properly.
• Loads and unloads trucks and hauls materials.
• Follows safety and incident reporting procedures.
• Assists foremen and supervisors with form work, mixing and pouring materials.
• May assist with traffic control and flagging.
• Operates various equipment while following company safety rules.
