Job summary

Caton Construction Group in Wake County, North Carolina, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our bridge and roadway project. The role involves operating bulldozers, backhoes, road graders and loaders, with local travel possible.

Starting pay is competitive and based on skills and experience. Normal hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years’ experience with medium and heavy equipment.
• CDL license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer, backhoe, road grader or front-end loader to move and grade dirt and related tasks.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to safety and security standards in all tasks.
