Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is seeking a Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to lead structural bridge projects and mentor engineers across multiple offices.

You will manage scope, budgets, and design coordination within the Structures/Bridge Group, while supporting transportation and site development teams. The role requires a PE and 10+ years of bridge design experience, with flexibility to work from multiple CDI offices in MO/IL/KY and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering (a plus but not required).
• Registered PE.
• IL Structural Engineer licensure (preferred).
• Team Leader Bridge Inspection certification (preferred).
• 10+ years of bridge design experience.

Responsabilités

• Managing structural engineering projects by creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff and design team members.
• Signing/sealing work as required.
• Analyzing and designing transportation-related structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations.
• Serving as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials.
• Displaying an eagerness to work on a wide variety of project types.
• Assisting in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Working collaboratively with the CDI Structural Service Leadership, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop effective solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with CDI’s safety procedures.
