Job summary

Civil Design, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to lead complex bridge and structural projects. You’ll supervise design teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients and officials while ensuring high-quality, safe deliverables.

This role can be based in multiple CDI offices and involves up to 10% travel. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s in civil/structural engineering, be a PE, and have 10+ years of bridge design experience, with strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Lead projects with scope, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Sign/seal work as required and liaise with clients.
• Proficient in bridge design, materials, and verification methods.
• DOT project experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects from scope to delivery.
• Sign and seal engineering work when required.
• Analyze and design bridges, culverts, walls and foundations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and officials.
• Prepare proposals and collaborate across teams.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.
