Job summary

Ferrovial's Webber division seeks a maintenance technician to repair highway structures, bridges, and related facilities. You will perform concrete, steel, welding tasks and ensure safety standards across weather and water environments.

You must lift up to 50 pounds, wear PPE, work from heights, operate large trucks and site equipment, and be available for overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year construction/maintenance experience preferred.
• CDL, DOT certifications,Electrical and Welding certifications highly desirable.
• Valid Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete, structural steel, welding, expansion joints, carpentry and painting.
• Create safe traffic control (M.O.T.) by setting up/removing cones, boards, signage.
• Work from heights in bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders and aerial platforms.
• Repair slopes, berms, drains and related features using hand/power tools.
• Maintain bridge fender systems, navigational signs and lighting.
• Be comfortable working in and around water and from boats.
• Transport crew/equipment to sites using large trucks and trailers.
• Emergency response rotations may be required, including overtime.
