Job summary

Ferrovial’s Webber unit seeks a Maintenance Technician skilled in heavy civil and bridge upkeep. You will perform repairs on movable and fixed bridges, culverts, lighting, and related structures, following contract specs and safety standards.

You'll operate from heights, use traffic control devices, and work in varied weather, including water environments. CDL/DOT certifications and a valid license are preferred; join a team delivering reliable infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• One year of construction, maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• CDL, DOT certifications, electrical and welding certifications highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete, structural steel, welding, joints, carpentry and painting.
• Create Safe MOT control with setup and removal of traffic control devices.
• Work from heights using bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders and aerial platforms.
• Repair slopes, berms, drains and related infrastructure using hand/power tools.
• Control vegetation using lawn equipment and trimmers; apply chemicals as needed.
• Maintain bridge fender systems including lighting and navigational signs.
• Work in and around water and from boats.
• Transport crew and equipment to sites using large trucks and trailers.
• Be available for emergency rotations, overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
