Job summary

Ferrovial, a global infrastructure leader, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to repair highway structures, bridges, culverts, and related systems. The role requires hands-on experience with concrete, structural steel, welding, and traffic control under contract specifications.

You will work from heights, around water, and participate in emergency response rotations. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; CDL, DOT certifications, electrical and welding

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• One-year construction/maintenance experience preferred.
• CDL, DOT, electrical and welding certifications are highly desirable.
• Valid driver\u2019s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete, structural steel, welding, expansion joints, carpentry and painting.
• Create safe MOT by setup/removal of traffic controls devices.
• Work from heights in bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders and aerial platforms.
• Repair slopes, berms, drains using hand/power tools.
• Control vegetation with mowing equipment, trimmers, and sprayers.
• Maintain bridge fender systems including signs and lighting.
• Work in and around water and from boats.
• Transport crew and equipment to work sites in large trucks and trailers.
• Be available for emergency response rotations with overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• All other duties as assigned.
