Job summary

Webber, LLC in Florida seeks a maintenance technician to upkeep highway structures, bridges, and related systems, performing repairs to concrete, steel, and protective coatings while following project standards.

You will set up MOT controls, work at heights, and operate trucks and equipment. This role requires safety focus, physical endurance, and availability for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED (Required).
• One-year work experience in construction/maintenance (preferred).
• CDL, DOT certifications, Electrical and Welding certifications (highly desirable).
• Valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record (Required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures (concrete, structural steel, welding).
• Set up and remove MOT controls and traffic devices.
• Work from heights in bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial platforms lifts.
• Repair slopes, berms, and drainage systems using hand/power tools.
• Maintain bridge fender systems including signs and lighting.
• Work around water and from boats; transport crew/equipment to sites.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls as needed.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety procedures.
