Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, Structural Engineer to join our New England Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team, with offices in Boston, MA. The role blends field inspection leadership with office design work, guiding junior engineers and coordinating multi-project efforts.
The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of bridge/related inspection experience, an Engineer in Training certification preferred, and strong communication, technical writing, and AutoCAD skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–7 years in bridge, tunnel or related inspection/design work.
- Engineer in Training Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to lead junior staff and communicate professionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on various inspection projects.
- Serve as Team Leader on Bridge, Tunnel & Ancillary Inspections.
- Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
- Assist in development of plans/sketches using AutoCAD.
- Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute projects.
