WSP USA is seeking a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader to join the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in Pennsylvania. This role blends field inspections with office work, supporting bridge and tunnel projects and developing load ratings.

The position requires a structural/civil engineering degree, current NCBI and CBSI certifications, and 1–3 years of related experience, with leadership potential and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering required.
• NCBI certification current and PennDOT CBSI certification required.
• 1–3 years of bridge, tunnel, or related infrastructure inspection/design experience.
• Engineer in Training Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work with the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on inspection projects.
• Serve as Assistant Team Leader on bridge, tunnel, and ancillary inspections.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
• Assist in preparing Bridge & Tunnel Load Ratings and development of plans/sketches using AutoCAD/MicroStation.
• Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers.
• Support project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
