Job summary

Hall Industries, Inc. in Grove City, PA is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive growth in our infrastructure and bridge components portfolio.

You will bridge engineering requirements and client-facing sales, focusing on heavy highway projects and guardrails, drainage systems, and fabrications across the tri-state area. The role requires travel 50-60%, strong communication, and ability to translate technical spec details for contractors, engineers, and procurement staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical fabrication field preferred.
• Basic familiarity reading engineering drawings, structural detail layouts, or DOT project specifications.
• Exposure to AISC codes or state-level DOT materials criteria (such as PennDOT Bulletin 15) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand heavy highway and infrastructure accounts across PA, OH, WV, VA and the Carolinas.
• Bridge the gap between engineering requirements and client-facing sales execution.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to track, submit, and maintain approved fabricator status on state DOT registries.
• Conduct outside sales calls to heavy highway contractors, engineering firms, and civil subcontractors in the tri-state area.
• Build long-term rapport with government procurement officials, materials engineers, and district representatives.
• Assist contractors in navigating long lead time fabrications, bid adjustments, and submittal packaging.
