Job summary

Miller Bros. Construction, Inc. is seeking a diligent site superintendent to manage daily operations on multiple project sites, coordinating subcontractors, inspections, and safety checks. The ideal candidate has bridge experience and strong communication skills.

You will oversee planning, quality control, and on-site direction while maintaining detailed logs and ensuring compliance across diverse climates and locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or minimum three years of heavy construction field experience.
• Bridge work experience is required.
• Ability to set priorities and use time effectively.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors and vendors.
• Familiar with construction tools and machinery; lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willing to travel between job sites and work in varying climates.
• Proficiency with Heavy Job and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to write reports and professional correspondence.
• Strong reading comprehension for technical documents.
• Excellent verbal communications skills with clients and visitors.
• Identify non-compliance and propose solutions.
• Familiar with operation of office equipment (cameras, faxes, computers).
• Stand for long hours and work on uneven ground.
• Experience managing demanding clients and creating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, team members and vendors to complete each project on time.
• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control.
• Communicate with project team and support subcontractors to execute duties.
• Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet safety and compliance regulations.
• Maintain a written daily log of visitors, actions, materials, and problems resolved.
• Travel between multiple job sites and manage workloads of projects.
• Identify and resolve problems, organizing meetings with the team.
• Set an example by keeping the site organized and compliant with waste standards.
