Job summary

The Project Manager will support bidding through completion, coordinating with the GM and field leadership to protect profit and ensure client satisfaction. The role requires at least 2 years in project management or estimation with bridge construction experience; HCSS bids and cost data will be used to drive project scope and cost control, while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or estimation; bridge work experience is a must.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in heavy construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project to a successful result for both the client and Miller Bros. Const., Inc.
• Provide the highest level of client satisfaction
• Effectively communicate with all parties involved in the project
• Ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare bids and estimated cost to perform the full scope of work using HCSS
• Maximize the project profitability
• Accurately manage the fiscal and administrative responsibilities of the project
• Maintain relationships with customers, employees, and the public
• Prepare, manage and file all contract documents from project award to close-out
• Review and update all cost reports
• Ensure OSHA, MSHA and company safety compliance; promote Site Sense talks
• Coordinate project activities and schedule demands through the Superintendents and Foremen
• Report weekly the status of each project to the GM
