Apex Engineering Group is seeking a Structural-Bridge Engineer to expand its transportation team in Fargo, ND. You will lead design efforts, perform calculations, and coordinate with project managers on budgets and schedules for bridge and drainage projects.

The role requires a PE license or ability to obtain one within 6 months, plus 10+ years in bridge engineering. Strong communication and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Licensed PE for bridge design in primary practice state or able to obtain license within 6 months.
• Experience with ND/MN transportation projects preferred.
• Experience with in-service bridge inspection preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead bridge design efforts as engineer-of-record on various bridge types.
• Independently perform bridge engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks.
• Prepare technical proposals and participate in project pursuits.
• Mentor junior bridge staff and oversee work of team members.
• Collaborate with project managers and sector leaders on schedules and budgets.
• Attend in-person meetings with clients and stakeholders.
