Job summary

Thundermist Health Center is launching a Bridge Clinic at our Woonsocket location. This per diem role provides structured primary care during 30-minute visits, with no panel ownership or after-hours calls. Schedule: three days per week, four hours per shift, on-site in Woonsocket.

You will deliver full-scope primary care and hand off follow-ups to the cross-coverage team, maintaining strict documentation and compliance within HRSA/HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active board certification in specialty required at time of hire.
• Full, unrestricted Rhode Island license to practice.
• Current DEA registration and Rhode Island Controlled Substance Registration.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (eClinicalWorks preferred).
• Ability to work within a defined Bridge Clinic workflow and handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary medical care during 30-minute Bridge Clinic visits.
• Manage acute and chronic care, medications, and preventive services within short visits.
• Perform comprehensive histories, exams, and diagnostic assessments; order and interpret tests.
• Prescribe medications within scope and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate handoffs to cross-coverage team and ensure safe end-of-shift closure.
