Job summary

Community Care Alliance is seeking a part-time Intake Clinician (20 hours) to join the Emergency Services team in Woonsocket, RI. You will conduct intake assessments at the outpatient behavioral health center and support the Open Access program that directs clients to appropriate ongoing care.

Responsibilities include client contact, referrals, basic case management, and assisting ES clinicians with screenings and crisis assessments as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of high acuity populations diagnostic and assessment criteria; DSM-5 use and ASAM knowledge are required.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is preferred.
• Experience in Community Mental Health services.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of trauma-informed care practices.
• Respect for diversity in language, culture, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexuality, and individuality.

Responsibilities

• Meet face to face with new clients seeking services and perform intake assessments.
• Make referrals and provide limited clinical case management and follow-up services.
• Assist Emergency Services clinicians with phone screenings, community visits and crisis assessments as needed.
