Job summary

Thundermist Health Center in Woonsocket, RI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a collaborative, mission-driven care team across family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and behavioral health. You will triage calls, perform nurse visits, administer vaccines, and support staff while delivering culturally competent care to patients from birth through adulthood.

The ideal candidate holds Rhode Island RN licensure, CPR, strong triage and documentation skills, and a commitment to health equity.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification.
• Strong triage, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with patients, providers, and community agencies.
• Three or more years of nursing experience preferred — new RN graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ambulatory health care experience is a plus; candidates who don’t meet every preferred qualification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls and nurse visits, administer vaccines and treatments, and provide education.
• Support obstetric, pediatric, and behavioral health care within ambulatory settings.
• Review labs and imaging, discuss results with providers, and document care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
