Job summary

Blythe Construction is seeking a Bridge Carpenter to construct forms for concrete footings, slabs, walls, bridge decks and bent caps on outdoor site projects.

Expect to drive piling, build job-specific wood forms, set and tie steel, and pour, grade and finish concrete. You will also load materials, perform housekeeping, and provide flagging for crane operators while working at heights.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Bridge Carpenter; not entry-level.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand work directions.

Responsibilities

• Drive piling.
• Build and assemble wood forms and form systems.
• Set and tie steel as required.
• Erect and wreck all forms.
• Pour, grade and finish concrete.
• Load/unload materials and maintain tools.
• Provide flagging for crane operators.
• Must have own tools and be able to walk on rebar.
