Job summary

Blythe Construction, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Carpenter to perform skilled craft tasks in constructing forms for concrete footings, slabs, walls, columns, bridge decks and bent caps. The role involves driving piling, building forms, setting steel, pouring concrete, and site cleanup.

Candidates should have 3–5+ years of relevant experience; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. This is an outdoor, hourly position with exposure to heights and heavy equipment; physical stamina is essential.

Qualifications

• Not an entry-level role; requires prior bridge carpenter experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5+ years of industry experience in roads, highways, and bridges.
• Ability to understand work directions and communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Drive piling and build forms for concrete footings, slabs, walls, and decks.
• Set and tie steel; erect and wreck all forms.
• Pour, grade and finish concrete; maintain grade stakes.
• Load/unload materials and maintain equipment.
• Provide flagging and direction to crane operators; operate a man-lift when needed.
