Job summary

Blythe Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Bridge Carpenter in North Carolina to construct forms for concrete footings, slabs, walls, and bridges. The role involves driving piling, setting steel, erecting forms, and finishing concrete on outdoor job sites.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of bridge carpentry experience, be able to lift heavy loads, and work in all weather conditions. This is an hourly, full-time position with benefits typical of construction crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of bridge carpenter experience required.
• Ability to read and follow job directions and communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Drive piling.
• Build job-specific wood forms and assemble form systems.
• Set and tie steel as required.
• Erect and wreck all forms and pour, grade and finish concrete.
• Load and unload materials and perform site housekeeping.
