Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Bridge Carpenter to join the construction team on projects in the Southeast region. You will construct forms for concrete footings, slabs, walls, columns, bridge decks, and bent caps, following precise measurements and blueprints.

You will be responsible for layout, cutting, assembling formwork, and erecting scaffolding, while maintaining safety and quality. Travel to various project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable set of basic carpentry hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret simple drawings or plans.

Responsibilities

• Construct forms for concrete footings, slabs, walls, columns, decks and bent caps.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, safe jobsite.
• Prepare layouts using measuring tools and framing squares.
• Shape and assemble form panels, anchors, and chutes as required.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work areas.
• Layout and install embeds in concrete formwork.
• Complete additional duties as directed by supervisor.
