Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the high standards of our brand. You will demonstrate friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise while delivering superior customer service in a retail bridal environment.

Responsibilities include managing alteration appointments, assisting stylists with gown fit, and maintaining a clean, organized alterations room. Prior sewing experience and basic POS familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail apparel experience.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Maintain service levels and alterations with prep, welcoming, and meeting needs.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once.
• Address customer concerns with confidence and partner with leadership when needed.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the gown for events and promote services.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising gown fit and customization.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and ensure quality checks on garments.
