David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to fit, alter, and customize gowns while delivering exceptional customer service. You will assist clients in selecting alteration options, coordinating with stylists, and maintaining high store standards.

Responsibilities include handling multiple customers, ensuring quality control of altered garments, and supporting cash wrap processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with genuine enthusiasm and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers with gown fit, alterations, and customization decisions.
• Manage multiple customers and maintain five-star service throughout the visit.
• Coordinate with stylists to close sales and ensure a flawless shopping experience.
• Maintain alterations room cleanliness and adherence to dress code policies.
• Inspect garments after alterations to ensure pristine condition before delivery.
• Process transactions accurately and support cash wrap procedures.
