Job summary

David's Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering exceptional customer service. The role reports to the Store Manager and supports stylists with gown fit and customization.

Ideal candidates will have sewing experience, prior retail exposure, and a passion for providing a five-star customer experience. This is a store-based position focused on alterations and personalized service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in an apparel or specialty store desirable.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Maintain service levels with prepared, welcoming, and responsive approach
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support store targets for five-star service.
• Address customer concerns promptly and partner with leadership when needed.
• Explain how alterations enhance dress fit and promote alteration services.
