Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations with high standards. You will greet customers, support stylists, and coordinate alteration services within a friendly, knowledgeable team.

The role requires sewing experience and comfort with POS systems in a fast-paced bridal environment. The position is part-time, based in‑store, and focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining policies and quality controls across alterations,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal or formal wear.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in person, over the phone or online with friendly enthusiasm.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver five‑star service.
• Perform alterations and sewing to high quality standards.
• Assist stylists with gown fitting and customization consultations.
• Maintain the alterations area and ensure quality before delivery.
