Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings to high standards and deliver superior customer service. You will work with stylists to ensure gown fit and customization, while maintaining the alterations room and following dress code policies.

Ideal candidates have sewing experience, at least a High School diploma, and 1–2 years in retail. This part-time role offers Team Bonus, Vision Care, 401K, and employee discounts in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming, and attentive to needs and emotions.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once and support store goals.
• Address customer concerns confidently and escalate when needed.
