Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to support a superior customer experience. You will collaborate with store leadership to promote alteration services, assist stylists with gown fit, and maintain the alterations area and garment quality throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chats and adapt communication style.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels through preparedness, welcoming attitude, and meeting customer needs.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
• Ensure alterations room is clean and organized and inspect garments for quality before delivery to customer.
• Resolve customer questions with product and service information and build long-term relationships.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
